A Gojo Hunt Built on Newly Recorded Voice Lines

The campaign's centerpiece is a stamp rally with a simple premise: find Satoru Gojo somewhere in the mall. Each rally spot plays a newly recorded, event-exclusive voice line from a Jujutsu Kaisen character, and those lines are the clues to where Gojo is hiding. The Jujutsu High cast also takes over the in-mall public address system for the duration of the event, according to the PR TIMES release from Mitsui Fudosan Commercial Management, the Mitsui Fudosan subsidiary that runs the LaLaport chain.

The rally runs at every participating mall, one entry per person, while supplies last. The event's title, "Jujutsushi-tachi no Tokkyū Ninmu" (roughly "The Sorcerers' Special-Leave Mission"), frames the whole thing as the cast taking a day off to hang out at the mall.

Six malls (LaLaport Fujimi, Toyosu, Shonan Hiratsuka, Nagoya Minato Aquls, Sakai, and Fukuoka) extend the voice gimmick to their food courts. Every order at a participating food-court stall comes with one of four original coasters, and a QR code on the back unlocks additional exclusive voice content.

Pop-Up Stores, Stickers, and a Standee Lottery

The "Special-Leave Mission" pop-up store sells collaboration-exclusive goods in two waves. Wave one runs September 29 to October 5 at LaLaport Toyosu, Shonan Hiratsuka, and Nagoya Minato Aquls. Wave two runs October 8 to 14 at LaLaport Fujimi, Sakai, and Fukuoka. The same items go on sale through &mall, Mitsui Shopping Park's official online store, from 10:00 a.m. on September 29 through 11:59 p.m. on October 14; &mall orders of ¥10,000 or more earn a bonus novelty item.

For shoppers at any of the 21 malls, every ¥3,000 spent in a single transaction at a participating store (pop-up store purchases excluded) earns one of four random original stickers, capped at 10 per person. Members of the Mitsui Shopping Park points program get one extra sticker on top.

Those same members can also enter a lottery for a bigger prize. Members who spend a combined ¥10,000 or more at participating stores during the campaign can enter via the QR code on the back of the stamp rally sheet; 12 winners will receive one of the original standing panels displayed inside the malls, in the character of their choice.

Yuji Dorayaki, niko and ... Apparel, and Two Live Appearances

Japanese sweets chain Kofukudo is baking a Jujutsu Kaisen dorayaki with Yuji Itadori's face branded onto the pancake, sold in a 5th-anniversary package. It launches September 29 at nine Kofukudo shops inside LaLaport malls and Lazona Kawasaki Plaza (Kashiwanoha, Fujimi, Tachikawa Tachihi, Ebina, Shonan Hiratsuka, Numazu, Nagoya Minato Aquls, Izumi, and Lazona Kawasaki Plaza), then expands to Kofukudo and Kakijiro shops nationwide from October 13. Buying three earns a clear file with a Kofukudo-exclusive illustration: the first-year trio of Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, plus their teacher Gojo, drawn as mini characters sharing dorayaki at snack time.

Apparel brand niko and ... is releasing a collaboration line based on illustrations drawn specifically for the campaign, with items matching the outfits Yuji and the others wear in the art. The line sells at all 18 niko and ... LaLaport stores, on &mall, and through the brand's and ST web store, where a pre-release window opened September 10 and runs through September 26 ahead of the September 29 main launch. Purchases of ¥10,000 or more that include Jujutsu Kaisen items come with a LaLaport-exclusive novelty, the same one offered on &mall pop-up orders.

Two malls are also hosting in-person appearances by Yuji and Satoru. LaLaport Nagoya Minato Aquls has them at the 1F Center Court on Sunday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. LaLaport Sakai follows on Monday, October 12 (a public holiday in Japan), at the 1F Fansta XROSS STADIUM, same two time slots. The release notes there will be no posed photo sessions with fans.

Looking Ahead

The anniversary lands in the middle of a busy stretch for the franchise. Per the release's own recap, MAPPA's TV anime started in 2020 on MBS/TBS, and Season 2 covered Hidden Inventory and the Shibuya Incident in 2023. Then 2025 brought a theatrical run: a Hidden Inventory compilation film in May, a revival of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in October (the film grossed ¥26.5 billion, approx. $175 million, worldwide), and in November a special edit of Shibuya Incident paired with the first two episodes of Season 3. Season 3, Culling Game Part 1, began airing in January 2026. Season 4, Culling Game Part 2, is confirmed to be in production; a teaser PV is out, but no premiere date has been announced.

On the manga side, Gege Akutami's original run in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump ended in September 2024 after six and a half years, with 150 million copies in circulation worldwide including digital. A near-future spin-off, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo (呪術廻戦≡), written by Akutami with art by Yuji Iwasaki, ran as a short serialization from September 2025 and is out in three volumes. The main series is published in English by Viz Media.

The mall campaign itself is Japan-only, and nothing in the release suggests an international version. For fans outside Japan, the anime streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and the campaign's special site carries the full list of participating locations.
