Reze's Part-Time Job Is Getting a Real Location
Nido Cafe (喫茶二道) is the coffee shop where Reze works part-time in Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, and the pop-up builds its entire concept around that one room. The clearest example is on the drink list. Nido Cafe Coffee (¥990) is modeled on the coffee the shop's owner brews, and guests hand-drip it themselves rather than having it served ready-made.
The film adapts the Reze arc of Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga and picks up straight from the final episode of the TV anime, which aired from October 2022. Denji is on a date with Makima, the woman he idolizes, when he happens to run into a girl named Reze. MAPPA produced the film under director Tatsuya Yoshihara. It opened in Japan on September 19, 2025 and has grossed ¥29.7 billion worldwide as of June 19, 2026, roughly $200 million.
Some background on the series: Fujimoto's dark hero action manga follows Denji, a kid working off the debt his parents left behind. He contracts with the Chainsaw Devil Pochita to make a living as a devil hunter, then becomes Chainsaw Man himself. The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump, and part two now runs in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app.
A Menu Written Around Specific Scenes
The food is organized by moment rather than by character. Sandwich: A Single Flower (¥1,890) represents the phone booth where Denji and Reze meet. Salsiccia and Cheese Pasta: Footprints on the Shore (¥1,890) is built around the film's seaside closing scene. Nido Cafe Fried Rice (¥1,190) rounds out the savory side.
Desserts follow the same rule. Blue Parfait: Night Pool (¥1,690) is based on the scene at the school pool at night, and Bouquet Cake (¥1,690) recreates Denji waiting for Reze at Nido Cafe with flowers in hand. Reze's Choker Pudding (¥1,290) is modeled on Reze herself. Pochita Parfait (¥1,290) assembles Pochita out of mango and passion fruit sorbet. Summer Festival Dessert Plate: Fireworks is also in the lineup, though the report from Japanese anime news site Anime Anime doesn't list a price for it.
The rest of the drink menu is Flower Apple Tea (¥1,090) and Enchanting Melon Soda (¥1,090).
Merch, Bonuses and How Booking Works
The goods lineup uses newly drawn illustrations. Blind items include can badges (¥605), acrylic keychains (¥770) and stickers (¥550), each in six random designs. The rest are sold as specific designs: acrylic stands of Denji and Reze at ¥1,430 apiece, a Pochita glass at ¥1,980, and a canvas art print at ¥3,080. A satin drawstring pouch is also pictured in the lineup.
Advance reservations opened September 8 at 6:00 p.m. Japan time at ¥660 per person, tax included. Booking and then ordering from the menu comes with a two-postcard set, and ordering an eligible drink earns one random paper coaster from six designs.
Looking Ahead
The Tokyo venue is BOX cafe&space Lumine Est Shinjuku Store 1, inside the Lumine Est mall at Shinjuku Station, running October 1 to November 8. Nagoya is at Global Gate Nagoya Store 2 over the same dates. Osaka opens a week later at BOX cafe&space KITTE OSAKA Store 2 in Umeda, October 8 to November 8. Full details and the reservation link are on the official Chainsaw Man Cafe site, and reservations run through the TableCheck booking platform.
No overseas edition of the cafe has been announced, and BOX cafe&space pop-ups have historically stayed inside Japan. The film itself is easier to reach: Crunchyroll started streaming Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc worldwide on April 30, 2026, and in Japan it lands on Prime Video as an exclusive on September 19, 2026, exactly one year after its theatrical opening. Viz Media publishes the manga in English, with part two running simultaneously on Shueisha's MANGA Plus service.
